QOTD: In any given moment we have two options: To step forward into growth or step back into safety. ~Abraham Maslow

This past week has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. On the first day of skating, everyone was figuring out who the coaches and skaters were, but by the end of the week we were all friends. All of the coaches there were super nice and encouraging. Almost every day we had an off-ice harness and workout class. We took turns on the off-ice harness, agility ladder, and TRX. There were also 2 group lessons each day where we worked on things from jumps to just plain crossovers. Every day we went to a dance class to learn a group dance that we performed at the end of the week on ice. Twice, we went to a yoga class that was absolutely amazing. If you ever get the chance to do a yoga class, I suggest you do it because it is so relaxing and you feel amazing after. Also, stretching is very important in skating. Everything that we worked on throughout the week has really helped to improve my skating. While I was there, a skating benefit show was held for Lucy Barret who was diagnosed with Leukemia. After the show, there was a meet and greet of the skaters who performed in the benefit show. I was able to meet Max Aaron, Jason Brown, Mirai Nagasu, Danny Samohin, Angela Wang, Ryan Bradley, Madison Hubble, Zach Donohue, Vanessa James, and Morgan Cipres. If you ever get the chance to go to a G2C Super Camp, definitly take that chance because you will not regret it!
