Christmas Show in Colorado

In 2018 I participated in 2 christmas shows. The 2nd one I performed in was in Colorado. I skated to "Santa Baby" by Ariana Grande. I choreographed the whole thing by myself and had a ton of fun performing it. It was so fun to make and perform with new friends in Colorado! You can watch it right here, Hope you enjoy! :)

My family and I went to visit beautiful ice castles. We visited them in Dillon, CO but there are a few other locations around the US. It is a big "castle" made of ice and inside there are crawl tunnels, slides, fountains and beautiful sculptures of icicles. It was really amazing and definitly worth going. This year I was in 2 different christmas shows. The first one I participated in was in Wisconsin. I did it with one of my good friends Naihua (@naihuaskates on instagram). We skated to "I Want a Hippopotomaus for Christmas". She dressed up a hippo and I dressed up as a little girl. We choreographed the whole program by ourselves and it turned out pretty good:) I had so much fun performing it and I hope you enjoy watching it!

Ingredients:
2 big handfuls of spinach or 1 big handful of kale and 1 big handful of spinach
16.9 oz of coconut water
1 carrot
1 banana
1/2 of an avocado
1 T flax seed
1 T chia seed
1 generous cup of mango chunks (fresh or frozen)
1 generous cup of pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)

Along with freestyle I also work on ice dance a little bit. I am almost done with all of my gold dances! I think ice dance is so fun and it helps develop your skating skills as well as posture. Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, mashed (you need a ripe one to give the muffin sweetness!)
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce (I like to use 1 cup)
1/4 cup coconut oil (melted) or walnut oil (use the oil to grease the muffin cups)
3 eggs (I like to use 2)
1 tsp. alcohol free vanilla
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon (more or less if you like)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (more if you like)
1/4 tsp. salt

Building our Homemade Zamboni

Building a zamboni or "homeboni" is very simple. We used 1 inch PVC pipe. Glued it together in the shape you see in the picture.


Once you hook a hose to it, you just need to adjust the water to the right amount. The right amount is very hard to know. We put one hole in the top T so we could easily see the water flow. After a few trials we know how much to adjust based on the top hole. On our homeboni we adjust until the water lands on the outside ...

Every year we make a ice rink in our yard. Here's how!


Materials:
16 2x8x10 boards
30x50 Tarp (preferably white)
25 2 foot rebars
